A review from a foot and ankle surgeon

“Podbod orthotics are a great over-the-counter product that perfectly combines both comfort and support. They are well made and are great quality for an over-the-counter orthotics. They have helped many of my patient’s with their foot pain and many of my patient’s actually love these more than their custom orthotics. As a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with experience working with thousands of orthotics, I would recommend Podbod orthotics to my patients.”

Features designed by a fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon

Gel anti-slip forefoot padding
The gel forefoot is designed for better cushioning and offloading to help with forefoot pain from capsulitis, metatarsalgia, bursitis, sesamoiditis, and fat pad atrophy.

Gel heel cushion
The extra padding in the heel aids with shock absorption and helps resolve pain from plantar fasciitis

Deep heelp cup
The deep heel cup helps align the hindfoot reducing over-pronation and over-supination

Multiple arch profiles
There are three arch profiles available to provide better support for your natural anatomic foot profile
Caution: Please order the arch profile that corresponds to your foot type. Only order the high arch profile if you have a high arch foot. Do not order a high arch profile if you have a flat foot as this will cause more pain. If the arch causes pain, you will likely need the lower arch profile. The arch is placed a little closer to your heel to capture the anatomic arch peak and help better control your hindfoot motion.
Sizing: If you cannot fit the tip of your finger up to the first knuckle under your arch when standing then you are LOW arch. If you can fit up to your first knuckle under your arch then you are STANDARD arch. If you can fit almost 2 finger sideways then you are HIGH arch. Sizing error: Women’s sizing should be 1.5 larger than the mens. The initial product box sticker labels designates the women’s size as 2 sizes larger however that is incorrect. The Amazon website labeling is the correct one.
